Presenters set out to tell us; what you set out to achieve; what were the challenges for you; why did you select this/these image[s] to share. Some members had set themselves constraints [Alan Larsen working with a 50mm prime lens], others had focused on a particular characteristic [John Murray on surfaces] and others has focused on their interest in a particular area [Kanu Joshi in Nomadic Community Garden]. Still others had collected a set of images which conveyed the whole range of experiences to be found along the route while there was particular interest in Blackall Street and the new Nobu Hotel building. It was great to have presentations from 2 of our newer members -Colin Page and Mark Johnson
You will be able so see a selection of the images on our Galleries/Events page while Dennis Law -who couldn't present for technical reasons- has posted his 5 on Pick of the Week our Flickr site.
To help us plan future events, we concluded the meeting with members giving us feedback on their experience of this "walk and shoot” event and any others they had attended. Everyone agreed that the Summer Walk and Shoot -now in its second year- together with the sharing session which followed should be continued; it was also suggested that we should follow-up the Covent Garden Christmas Walk
