Fourteen club members met up on Tuesday 10th Jan for a night photography walk and the "Not the Xmas Party" meal. It was a warm, slightly damp evening with an overcast sky. Club chair, Bill Gilliam, took us to the riverside on the north bank around Tower Bridge. In addition to the Bridge itself, and the views up and down the river, the Shard - fronted by More London and City Hall - offered the opportunity for some good shots. The Tower of London - recently cleaned - was beautifully lit [see Bill Richardson’s shot on his Flickr page] and many of us enjoyed the challenge of capturing the sculptures sited in the area. After a couple of hours shooting, we took the bus to Kingsland Road for a Vietnamese meal at Mien Tay, which proved to be excellent way to end a very enjoyable outing.
